Ann Downen began her real estate career in 1998 with Leigh-Jones Realty in Desoto County, Mississippi, working part-time. Ann retired in January 1, 2000 from politics and continued in real estate. After relocating to Hardeman County, she worked in Collierville and Bolivar for Crye-Leike, and now at Pulse Real Estate. Ann has been married to Leon Downen for over fifty three years, and they live in Middleton. They have two sons, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
